What is the advantage of the MAC Discount Dental Program?
The program was designed to help uninsured/underinsured individuals
save on their out-of-pocket dental care expenses. There are no
benefit maximums, no claim forms to submit and no waiting.

How much does it cost to enroll in the program?
The annual cost to enroll in the program is $79. Your membership can include yourself and up to eight family members who share the same primary residence or students in college
When is my plan effective?
Upon receiving your ID card, you are eligible to make an
appointment with any participating DenteMax provider and start
saving!
How do I start using the dental
program?
As soon as you receive your ID card you may contact any of the
participating providers and schedule an appointment. You will need
to present your ID card at your appointment. The dental office will
charge you the appropriate fee for services included in the program.
Payment is required at the time of service. From time to
time, certain providers may offer products and services to the
general public at prices lower than the discounted prices available
through this program. In such an event, members will be
charged the lowest price.

What if I already have dental insurance?
If your dental insurance plan includes a PPO network, you may not need a discount card to receive savings.
However, it is possible that you may use the discount plan even if you have an insured plan, but this depends on your plan and your needs. Please contact 1-866-498-7914 to find out how the discount dental program can save your money.
This program is not insurance. It is a discount program. You are responsible for the full cost of any health care services purchased. You will receive discounts for medical services at certain health care providers who have contracted with the program. Members have the right to cancel registration within a thirty-day period. This program does not make payments directly to health care providers. A list of all program providers within the prospective member’s service area which includes their name, city & state, and medical specialty is available prior to purchase, upon request. Discounts for hospital services are not available. This program is administered by Group Dental Service of Maryland, Inc.
